| Looking for... |
[Mar. 18th, 2002|03:40 pm] |
...monofibre, silky and yaky hair in the UK. Have found www.afrocare.com but they do not have much of a selection of bright colours, i.e. purples, blues, greens etc. Also looking for colours in UV as well.
Any help would be appreciated. :) |

| Sewing Machines |

| | curious | ] | I've got a plan brewing, but I need some good advice. I'm pretty sure fake hair will get tangled in the feed dogs on a sewing machine. Does anybody know if it will still tangle with a piece of fabric around it?
You see if I could stitch my hair pieces onto lengths of lace/material/ribbon I could cut out all the 'I get more glue on me than it when I make hair pieces' problem, they'd probably last longer, and I wouldn't have to work miracles with pins trying to hide the join.
I'm just rather reluctant to risk my machine getting itty bitty pieces of nylon hair in its mechanisms if somebody knows that this idea has failed in spectacular fashion before now... |
